Last week, I was gone for the entire week.  I took a trip to Tennessee for my daughter’s wedding.  While I was gone, I attempted to do a post from my mother’s house.  It was not a quality post, so I have deleted it and will revamp it and post it at another time.

The wedding was beautiful.  Most everything was handmade by different members of the family, which gave me some concern because of the continuity and quality that some family members would take.   But it all worked out and was great frugally.

The biggest surprise was that my son-in-law has a hidden talent for cake decorating.  The cake was absolutely beautiful and equally as delicious.

My daughter was beautiful in her off the shoulder dress with black sash.  She carried huge daisies with black centers with red ribbon tied around them, along with a locket with a picture of her “papa” (my dad) who passed away in 1998.

It’s great to be back and I look forward to writing again!
