Get Out and Vote!!!

A Break from our Policy

It was the policy of The Frugal Housewife to not bring politics into this blog. But after today’s passage of the so-called “Bailout”, I feel the need to publicly encourage all to get out there and vote.

We registered to vote today

My husband and I registered today for the first time in a long time. I feel very strongly about this year’s election. There is a need for Americans to voice their opinions to their Congressman and to the next President of this United States.

Take care of business

Frugality bloggers and financial bloggers often talk about priorities, setting goals, and taking action in taking care of business. I believe that priorities, setting goals, and taking action in taking care of businessapplies to all areas of our lives, not just the financial side of our lives. If you aren’t registered to vote — take care of business. Make it a priority. Register to vote. Your vote does matter.

Get out and vote on Election Day

The time for complacency has come and gone. Get out and vote. Check out my political blog at The Locke Block.

Till next time,

Jennifer
