Now more than ever, couponing has taken on a new meaning. CNN reported that “The rising price of consumer goods is driving shoppers from all walks of life to use coupons for food, beauty aids and pharmacy products at an increasing rate, according to some of the country’s largest purveyors of manufacturers’ coupons.”

Coupons are available for most everything.

Coupons are available now for oil changes, dry cleaning, food, and a wide range of other goods and services. According to the CNN report, Entertainment productions has seen a rise in the use of coupons for day to day necessities and in casual or “quick-serve” meals.

Americans are looking for savings now more than ever

With the economy in the shape that it is in, Americans are looking for ways to save and cut back on expenses. A twenty or thirty cent coupon may not sound like a lot, but when you combine it with the store sales, those coupons can quickly add up. Last week, I saved over $30 combining the sales with the coupons.

I am one of those people who believes coupons definitely can make a difference. Last week I saved over $55 with coupons. I love to combine what’s on sale with the manufacturer coupons. I have gotten lots of stuff very close to free.
