I check my account at least once a week. Since I pay for everything via my online banking account, I think it is worth the additional effort. I have been using online banking for about 2 years and I absolutely love it!

I agree Double. My mom had that happen to her also. She reported it and the credit card took it off the account. They closed the account out and reissued her a new number and card. Thanks for the great comment!!!

Another thing I would caution is to check online your bank account transactions regularly, especially if you use a debit card to make sure there are no debits to your account that do not belong in your account. One should also check their credit card transactions regularly, I had a friend who bought at a store and the clerk used a machine to read his card to make illegal transactions.
