Chipping Away At Debt

The other morning my hubby and I were talking about our debt and how we were going to go about “chipping away” at it.  It really wasn’t a great time for me to pick to talk to my hubby about this because he has been sick with a bad upper respiratory infection with a high temperature and has been on some strong antibiotics.  He tried to carry on the conversation and came out with the following statement.

“If we keep on chipping away at our debt — pretty soon we won’t have anything to chip.”

He is so right….we need to keep chipping at our debt and not adding to our debt. I asked him later after I got home from work if he remembered our conversation.  He barely remembered it, but with that one statement he has given me our new motto — “Chipping away at debt, one bill, one day at a time!”

Till later,
