The only time that I would think that they would not be as effective is if their "fresh" smell is not as strong as when they first come out of the box. @Chameleon -- I love this tip about rubbing the dryer sheet over your legs after putting on panty hose. No clingy skirts or slacks. @Stacy -- Love the tip about using them for the dry erase boards. Also, having them stashed all over the house makes for quick dusting. @Jodi -- Thanks for the great tip about the hamper!!! It definitely helps to already de-stink (is that a word?) the dirty laundry before taking it to the washer!!! @Lilysgramma -- I am honored to awarded the "Life is Grand" Award. I have used them for all the items you listed, also, I keep them in the linen closet to keep the towels and sheets smelling good. My son's teacher has us send in used sheets for the kids to use as eraser's for their dry erase boards.
