Sometimes all we ever hear about now are the bad things that are going on in America today. It’s great when we hear stories of how Americans are coming together to help Americans. One such story is what the Feed The Children organization is doing here in America.
Have you heard about the Feeding Americans Emergency Caravan? Feed the Children is sending out a cross-country caravan of 18-wheelers full of food and personal care items. They are going to communities that have been hit the hardest by the economic downturn.
Their last stop was in Elkhart, Indiana on March 10. It is estimated that they fed over 5,200 families. Hundreds of cars lined up. Thirteen semi-trailers carried enough food to feed 5,200 families for a week.

On an earlier stop in February in Wilmington, OH, they helped over 4,400 families. Eleven semi-trailers carried food to the residents of Wilmington, Ohio.
Have you ever noticed that when things in America are at their worst, Americans are at their best? We come together to help each other. Companies are donating food and personal care products at a time when some of these companies are struggling. People are donating what they can to help others here in America.
It’s a reminder that we need to start focusing on what’s good in America instead of what’s bad. Humanity and good will is still alive and well in America!!!
Till next time,
