Last month I started using Adgitize as an advertising tool for The Frugal Housewife. It has helped drive more traffic to this site. The great thing about Adgitize is that you can earn your advertising dollars back. Last month I earned my $14 plus the months that I had earned and not worked the Adgitize system. This month I’m a little off on the earnings but that is because I was gone for a week to my mother’s house and the only internet that I had was a free trial dial up with limited minutes and I wasn’t going to use them “dropping and clicking”, plus you just need some time to regroup and refocus and that is what I did. At the end of the month, I’ll post my totals.
For those not familiar with Adgitize, it is a system that is similar to Entrecard. The difference is that if you do not advertise with them, then you would need to click on 100 ads where if you do advertise you only need to click on 51 ads. There are various ways to earn points at Adgitize. You can earn points in the following categories: articles, click, Ad Views, Page Views, and Advertiser. You can also earn money by being an affiliate, which is one of the ways that The Frugal Housewife also earns extra.
If you’d like to sign up with Adgitize, either as a member or an advertiser, please click any of the links in the post and they will take you to Adgitize and just follow the instructions for sign-up and registration as an advertiser or non-advertising member.
Till next time,

I’d be interested to know what the effect is on your bounce rate. I did Entrecard and it totally screwed up my Adsense because people just clicked and didn’t stay to read my blog.
I had not thought about that until your comment. So when I checked I found out that the bounce rate is about the same as with Entrecard.
I suppose it is a bit of a trade off in trying to drive traffic to your site and the bounce rate. I have picked up some readers by using Adgitize.
Also, I am starting to lean more toward forums, blog carnivals, and BlogHer.
