The guys in my life are all having their special days in the next few months. August, September, and October are all birthday months in my household. Then for a couple of months there will be a lull in the birthday celebrating. Then in December we will have several birthdays before Christmas. Have I saved up for these special events? NOPE!!!
So what am I going to do? Naturally the one thing that I am very good at — online shopping. This year, though, I am being especially careful in watching prices and finding the best deals. Several months ago, I found ShopWiki.com. It’s great! You can enter in whatever you are looking for and it will search and list items with their prices at all the stores where it can find the items.
So naturally I headed there. I wasn’t sure what I was going to look for, so I entered men’s clothing into the directory. The result was a buying guide for men’s pants. It was especially helpful with information about basic types, fitting, and styles. Blue jeans seem like a good idea for my son. Searching for blue jeans brought a lot of results. This is one time I’ll have to do a lot of hinting to see if there is one special pair that he wants.
My husband has let me know that he would like a new watch for his birthday. Searching for watches brought up several results with several different styles. I still have some time to make a decision. I want to get the best watch for the best value. Going through the list will help narrow down my search.
The last gift will be the easiest of all. It’s for one of our friends who is a businessman and lives out of town. A nice necktie will be a great present. There is an added bonus — if I order online, the store where I order it will ship it for us.
This is just one of the sites that I use in shopping. I’ve found that it helps by listing all the prices and different items. There are many benefits. One is that I’m not running all over town which would use a lot of gas. Another is that I can see which online stores and mall stores have the best prices. Also, ordering online has the shipping feature that I like.

I personally like to shop in store. I find that every time I shop online I get the wrong thing, wrong size, etc. Its my own bad luck.
Most of the time I shop in store because I like it better to personally feel and scrutinize the products than just rely on the pictures online. However,I’ve also done online shopping and so far,no regrets. I was able to get an amazing bargain online that i knew i couldn’t get in the shopping centers.Add to it the convenience in shopping from the comforts of your own home.
