I don’t think I would want to do that either. I don’t have much things to buy and usually if I do shopping, I’ll just go and get the things I want and then leave the place. I don’t really fancy crowded places. Online shopping can be a pretty good alternative as long as we know that the online site is reputable and not some scamming sites.

I avoid the Black Friday brick and mortar sales for the same reasons as you!! I shopped for my kids already (online with free shipping) to be sure I got what I wanted. Now that’s out of the way my list is pretty small. It’s seems people buy more than they intend and buy stuff that they don’t need with the Black Friday sales…”But it was all 50″ off!!!”.

I froze to death the first year I was married waiting outside Best Buy because DH was bent on getting something. Since then I have convinced him online is generally just as good – this year so much has been available online, you might as well just do it that way!

I have gone shopping on Black Friday before but only twice. That was enough for me! I am a well mannered get along with most kinda person but when pushed around by other shoppers and being in an overcrowded store it tends to be easy for me to snap. I am not the one to start any problems but if you think you are going to push me, rip something out of my hand or anything else you are sadly mistaken! People go nuts, way too nuts for me. I prefer to put up Christmas decorations with the kids and eat turkey leftovers on Black Friday.
