Frugal Tuesday Random Rambling #1
People need to realize that because you choose to live a frugal lifestyle that it does not mean you cannot have fun.
My husband and I decided some time ago to start trying to live a frugal lifestyle. We do not deprive ourselves of the chance to eat out occasionally. We do not deprive ourselves of occasionally going out and having a good time. We do not deprive ourselves of purchasing new clothes or shoes if we need them. We are selective and we budget when we can afford to do those things. We don’t go out to $100 dinners on the weekend like some of our friends do. You can eat out cheaper and still have a good time. People really need to understand that living a frugal lifestyle does not mean that you live a totally miserable life.

Why is it when you make a determined effort to pay off bills it seems that something always breaks and you have to replace it out of your emergency fund? Nuff said on that one!
Now back to business…

I think you make a great point that living frugal doesn’t mean you’re living a boring life. It certainly is a lot less stressful finding cheaper ways to have fun and entertaiment than blowing a bunch of money that you stress out about later.
Nice random post.
I wish I could get my husband to do that
