It’s time for another blog hop!!! We are hosting this one a little early because you might find some great ideas for Valentines that you want to use. The theme for this blog hop is “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”. That’s right!!! It’s a Valentine’s themed blog hop.
What do you need to do in order to sign up and be included in the “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” Blog Hop?
1. Be a family friendly blog. Adult themed content (gambling, pornographic, or adult humor) will not be included.
2. If you are a family friendly blog and want to participate, sign up by January 23 using the MckLinky form below. A list of the participants will be posted on my blog and will be available for the participants to post on their blog. This will give you linky love back to your blog.
3. Write a post on February 4 about the subject “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” As the theme suggests, it’s all about Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t matter what your niche is as long as it’s family friendly.
4. This is very important!!! At the end of your post, you will need to provide a link to the next person on the list after you. Thus creating the Blog Hop. This also creates more linky love. A couple of days before the Blog Hop I’ll let the participants know the blog link that they need to provide the link to. If I don’t have an email address for you, please watch your comments for a comment from me.
What can you do to help drive readers to the blog hop?
ADVERTISE!!! ADVERTISE!!! ADVERTISE!!! Post information about the blog hop on Facebook, Twitter, Blog Catalog, or whatever social networking you use. If you have a newsletter, send information out to your readers. The more you talk the blog hop to your readers, the more visitors we will have to the blog hop.
It really is a WIN, WIN combination!!! You get linky love from the Blog Hop. If you participated in the last blog hop, you know that I dedicated a week of posts about the participants providing linkbacks to each participants blog. You give linky love to other blogs. You get new readers visiting your blog from other blogs. You basically get free advertising that you are a part of the blog from those posting the list of Blog Hop participants.
