One of the benefits of being a subscriber to The Frugal Housewife’s newsletter is that you get invitations to special events before the blog itself. In the last newsletter that was sent there was an invitation to join The Frugal Retweet Club. If you are a subscriber and have not responded you still have time. But tonight I am extending an invitation to the first 20 blog readers who are not subscribers to the newsletter to join The Frugal Retweet Club. We are limiting the amount of members to 50 members. Membership will be opened up to more at a later time.
What is The Frugal Retweet Club?
The Frugal Retweet Club is a members only club that is hosted on Google Groups. Each member is allowed to submit two retweet requests to the group. Members of the group retweet the posts. It is encouraged that members retweet as many of the requests as possible.
Who Can Join?
Anyone who’s blog is one of the following:
1. a personal finance blog; or,
2. a couponing blog; or,
3. a mommie blog; or,
4. a blog that is dedicated to frugal living; or,
5. a blog that is dedicated to crafting on a budget.
Each blog will be checked upon request for membership to make sure that it falls into one of the categories. Blogs who say they are in one of the categories but do not actually write a majority of their posts on the category will not be accepted.
This is a good way to get your posts retweeted. I’m in another retweet club and have had my blog opened up to various readers through the followers of the other members of that club.

That sounds like a good idea! I’m going to have to finally break down and sign up for Twitter one of these days. Not sure if my blog would qualify since I write on credit repair, avoiding scams, bad credit loans, etc.; I think maybe that’s personal finance. But I’ve got to figure out that little blue bird first, LOL!
Like Pete, I don’t know if I’ll qualify but I will sign-up anyway. I am not into tweeting lately but I might consider it right now.
