Down here in our West Texas town we are under a Winter Storm Warning. They are calling for 4-6 inches of snow. So far each time they’ve called for snow, we’ve missed a huge accumulation. This time it’s different. The temperature tonight has already dropped. The Frugal Hubby was great — he went to the grocery store for me today and we are all stocked up in case we can’t get out of the house. Just yesterday I had my windows open because it was above 70 degrees down here. At least the heater has not been running until today and that’s definitely good for the electric bill.
Update on last month’s electric bill — It came down significantly from over $300 to just over $200. It was on track to be even lower until this little winter revisit.
Oh and I just want to give an update on the Frugal Retweet Club – It officially opened today. If you contacted me to let me know you want to join and haven’t received your invitation, please leave me a comment and I’ll resend. Also we still have several spots if you’d like to join.
If you’ve already joined be sure to start submitting your posts to be retweeted and to check out the posts that others have submitted and then retweet them!
Till next time,
JT Locke
