September Entrecard Top Commentators

Now for a bit of unpleasant E-card business –
A decision has been made that September will be the only month that E-card credits will be awarded to the Top Commentators. The reason why follows –
Back around the first of August, when I thought that all the controversy at Entrecard had settled down, I made the decision to give back to my top Entrecard commentators in the form of Entrecard credits and linky love. Well, then not many weeks ago, controversy has returned to Entrecard after the decision has been made to accept paid advertisements and not only that but to opt out of paid ads you can optionally pay $50 per blog. Well, this gal is not going to pay $50 per blog per year — she has two active blogs at the moment with Entrecard and has 3 more that she was going to sign up. $250 to keep paid E-card ads off my five blogs — I think not.
As a result of this controversy and the fact that I’m not sure that I’m going to stay with Entrecard (I am going to give it about another month and will continue dropping), this will be the only month that I will be giving out Entrecard credits to the top commentators. I may come up with something in the way of small gift cards (which is really better anyway!!!) and extra linky love to give as appreciation to the top commentators but at this time, I’m not sure. An announcement will be made when a decision is made.

Yeah, it’s a tough choice. We’re waiting to see what will happen with the “sponsor ads”. Trouble is, I just love the simplicity of EntreCard for visiting other friends and dropping our card, together with the advertising and the traffic. Waiting …
Thanks for the EC credit. I am also thinking of dropping Entrecard, I don’t know how to make use of my remaining credits. I’m still trying to decide. Good luck to us!

Hi. thanks for the mention. it took me ages to come back here because our family was affected by the great flood in metro manila last sept 26. anyway,i’ll visit yous till every now and then until things around here go back to normal.as to entrecard, i was shocked to find out that some of my fave bloggers have opted to shun entrecard and join “entrewas.” How long have i been missing?

I still have entrecard on my blog and got some traffic from it. I don’t buy EC credits as I think it is not worth it. I tried entrecard widget in my blog about dogs and see little progress.
Another problem about entrecard is they delete blog that does not have new post for a long period of time so I constantly updating blog and my recent post is ringworm in dogs
