The Regulator
Yesterday my husband was taking a nap and asked me to wake him after an hour. Now I knew that something funny was going to come out of his mouth as I was waking him up, you see, he’s a sleep talker.
I asked him if he knew where he was and who I was. He said that “Yep, I know you… you are the regulator!” I can always count on his sleep talking. With much laughter, I asked him, “Regulator?” He says, “Yep, you are the regulator. You regulate our money.” How funny that he would be dreaming about our finances and being frugal. When he fully woke up, he asked if he had dreamed calling me the “regulator.” I started laughing again and said “Nope, you called me that.” He said, “Well you are you know. You get us regular in paying our bills, keep us on schedule, you are our regulator.”
Funny what people dream about. Even funnier what comes out of a sleep talkers mouth.
