The Frugal Housewife was created by me, JT Locke, to follow my family’s journey into living a frugal life and to offer tips, suggestions, and bloopers along the way. I hope that through my family’s journey our family can help other families that may be struggling with their frugal journey by showing them that it can be done and that it can be done in a way that maintains a comfortable lifestyle.

We are Christians above all else. My family believes in the Bible. We believe that God wrote it. We believe in prayer and that prayer is the answer to everything. We believe that God blesses us if we follow his Word.
