Credit Sesame provides premium services that do require a credit card. They also partner with credit card companies to offer you credit cards and loans. Their advertisers also pay them to run ads about products and services that you, the consumer, might like which in turn keeps the service FREE to you.

Credit Sesame uses a system that is secured with bank-level encryption. Once you enter your information it is encrypted and coded with the same type of bank-level encryption. And, they also refuse to sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

How long does it take to sign up for Credit Sesame?

It doesn’t take a long time to sign up for Credit Sesame.  All you need is the following:

• your Social Security number
• Email address
• Full Legal Name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Phone Number

You will also have to answer a few questions so they can verify it is you. After you finish signing up, you will have instant access to your credit score, identity theft protection, and the other features they offer.

My view on Credit Sesame

Credit Sesame is a legitimate FREE tool to add to your personal finance web of tools.  It gives you another method to take control of your finances and help you make informed decisions about your money.
